Cake batter

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Lightly grease mini loaf pans. If you do not have them, you can use a cake pan.
  • Mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl.
  • Using an electric mixer on medium to high speed, mix well. Be sure to also mix the ingredients along the sides of the bowl.
  • Let the devil’s food cake mix rest for a few minutes to thicken a little bit.
  • Pour each loaf three fourths full of mixture.
  • Cook in the oven for approximately fifteen minutes. Or until a toothpick inserted comes out with nothing on it.
  • Allow to cool completely.

Cream filling

  • In a medium bowl, mix all of the ingredients together.
  • Mix together well with an electric mixer.
  • To help mixture to set, refrigerate for about thirty minutes.
