I had some a few years ago but they are not for me, although my throw has changed since then so maybe I should try them again. Just felt too long and grippy for me at the time.

Well balanced darts with a decent grip level that's seems to wear well...they are still one of Taylor's best sellers...all in all they are def worth a try and can be got at the right money 2nd hand.

No suprise as they have been discontinued. Only natural versions left now.

I prefer the natural version as it doesn't fade that bad as the golden one does.
As far as Taylor changing darts was concerned. I am not sure what exactly you mean by the change. If you mean a change from natural to golden, then I think it's just a matter of what he fancied more. If you asked why he had changed for Phase 3, then it was because he wanted to try a bit of scallop on his darts. From what I know he only had been using Phase 3 shortly back in 2003.
Then he got back to Phase 2. He also used to use Phase 4 which were Unicorn Sigma darts actually. And Phase 5 were copies of John Lowe's darts which he bumped into one day (were they his wife's darts?).

The same here. I try them every couple of years or so and well, they are not for me.

Taylor changed because of $$$$$. He gets a fair percentage of his darts sales, like most players. Keep changing more models out there to make money on.

Sold my boxed Phase 2 golden purist...for 80 €... I think it would be worth to keep a set for a few years, if Unicorn really dont produce more.
